UNO Windows & Doors recently had the pleasure of supplying and installing the complete glazing package for The Ellerslie Project, an exceptional Passivhaus home set within a stunning 7-acre Lancashire estate. The project features Internorm triple-glazed tilt and turn windows, large sliding doors and expansive frameless glazing throughout, alongside a bespoke turquoise RK Pivot Door and FD30 internal steel doors from RK Steel. We were also delighted to work alongside our sister company, Roccia, who supplied the tiles throughout this remarkable home.

The specification included Internorm Passivhaus-certified triple-glazed windows and doors achieving U-values as low as 0.6 W/m²K, alongside PAS24 and Secure by Design accredited glazing throughout. Large sliding doors and frameless glazed elements were specified to maximise natural light, while flush thresholds provide a seamless transition between the internal and external living spaces. The impressive 200kg RK Pivot entrance door creates a striking focal point, combining exceptional performance with contemporary design.

We worked closely with both the client and architect throughout the project, as all glazing was specified and ordered off-plan to suit the timber frame construction. Careful planning and coordination at every stage ensured the glazing integrated perfectly with the build, helping to bring the client’s vision to life and create a truly impressive family home.
